Infineum USA L.P., located in Linden, recently completed another successful United Way Workplace Giving Campaign - generating more than $136,000 for local programs and services that improve the lives of our neighbors.

BOC Gases recently wrapped up its 2004-2005 BOC Workplace Campaign with employees raising $139,767.31 in donations for United Way of Greater Union County. Eleven Union County Enterprise-Rent-A-Car locations along with their Corporate Headquarters office in Cranford collected gifts for over 40 Union County children. These gifts were given to Visiting Nurse and Health Service's Teaching Homemaker Program and the YMCA of Plainfield's Shelter Program.

Employees from Infineum USA, L.P. serviced over 100 children by collecting gifts for local agencies including: Newborns in Need, YWCA of Eastern Union County, and Raphael's Life House.

The employees of Schering-Plough Corporation collected over 700 gifts for local children. These gifts were given to Union County agencies including: Newborns In Need, Center for Infant Development, Roselle Day Care Center, YMCA of Plainfield, Salvation Army – Elizabeth Corps., and Neighborhood House Association.

Employees from Synergy Bank collected over 150 gifts for 85 men, women and children living in Union County. These gifts were then given to the YMCA of Eastern Union County's Madison House Shelter.

Girl Scout Troop #544 of Cranford went shopping for food and donated it to the YMCA of Eastern Union County.

The Banana Republic Store in Westfield helped provide for a Union County family of seven. Together, 30 employees helped to contribute over 50 gifts to this family in need.

Kearny Federal Savings Bank, located in Springfield, held a food drive with their employees and customers.

The employees from Total Lubricants USA, Inc. in Linden, collected 30 gifts for the children of Rahway Community Action Organization/JFK Community Center.

The employees of Tekmark Global Solutions (TGS), located in Edison, helped collect 34 gifts for Visiting Nurse Health Service's Teaching Homemaker Program.

UnumProvident, an insurance solutions company located in Clark, recently put their creative minds and hearts at work for United Way of Greater Union County. The employees of UnumProvident hand-made 19 shirts for children which were then donated to the Roselle Day Care Center. CELEBRATION 2004 Nearly 200 Local People Gathered in Kenilworth at Schering-Plough to Support United Way's 2004 Annual Celebration and Helped Recognize United Way's Hispanic Leadership Advisory Council
