Womens Leadership Council (WLC)

United Way's WLC brings together dynamic women from local businesses, government, education, healthcare and other community organizations to help keep our community safe and thriving. WLC participants plan networking events and develop ways to address local issues that affect our community.

In 2008 WLC member Donna Sandorse authored The Report on the Status of Women in Union County. This important document offers readers a scorecard on the status of women in Union County. Click here to download the document.

In 2010, United Way and its WLC committee hosted the Women in Power Conference for over 300 "at-risk" juveniles ages 13-17 from across the state of New Jersey. Click here to read more about the event.
