New Members Join the Ranks of United Way of Greater Union County Board of Trustees, Armando J. D’Errico and Union County Sheriff-elect, Joseph Cryan

United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) takes pride, and is honored in announcing and welcoming our newest members to the Board of Trustees, Armando J. D’Errico, President and CEO Pinnacle Development Group, Inc. and N.J. Unity Development Group, LLC, along with Union County Sheriff-elect and currently the Assemblyman for the 20th District, Joseph Cryan. 

“On behalf of my fellow trustees, we look forward to the participation and expertise of our newest Board members.  Our group is very dedicated to ensuring communities thrive and I believe we are welcoming two very talented individuals who will compliment our Board,” says Alison G. Yablonowitz, Chair, UWGUC Board of Trustees.

UWGUC Board of Trustees support the mission of the organization, and as a vital instrument to strengthening families and communities, the board’s tremendous influence in attracting and directing resources to UWGUC, benefits the common good of the county.  The new trustee’s professional accomplishments will be an asset to the UWGUC leadership, Yablonowitz and the 2014-2015 Officers, Vice Chair, Walter Erhardt; Treasurer, Nelson Dittmar; and Secretary, Patricia Perkins-Auguste.

About Armando J. D’Errico

About Joseph Cryan
Democrat Joseph Cryan, of Union township, was first elected to the New Jersey General Assembly on November 6, 2001 and will transition to his newly elected position as Union County Sheriff in the coming year. He served as Assembly Majority Leader during 214th Legislature.  Mr. Cryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in administration from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. He has served as chairman of the Union Township Democratic Committee since 1995 and is a former chairman of the Democratic State Committee. As Assemblyman, Mr. Cryan represents the 20th Legislative District, which includes the Union County municipalities of Elizabeth, Hillside, Roselle and Union.

The mission is to ensure that the health and human services needs of the community are identified and addressed in ways that create a better quality of life for the residents of Union County, North Plainfield and South Plainfield.  UWGUC with an understanding that no “one size” fits all, is dedicated to family strengthening which is incumbent on three pillars: education, income and health.
