Enjoy a fun-filled night with loved ones and friends as United Way of Greater Union County’s (UWGUC) Summit, New Providence, Berkeley Heights Community Council hosts its 2nd annual “Night of Dance” on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 7 p.m. – 11p.m. at The Berkeley Plaza, 735 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights.
Enjoy an elegant evening of dining and dancing featuring two of New Jersey’s finest ballroom dancers, Terry & Leilani Viney, International Competitive Dancers and winners of the 2008 World Senior Standard Championships. The Tango, The Jive, The Waltz and many more classical dances will be demonstrated. Guests will also enjoy a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and delicious food.
More than a delightful evening out, Night of Dance recognizes and celebrates the wonderful work of UWGUC’s partners serving the Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights community: Arc of Union County, Arts Unbound, Atlantic Health/Overlook Hospital Family Service, Boy Scouts of America, Central Legal Services, Inc., Cerebral Palsy League of Union County, Community Access Unlimited, Community Service Association, Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, SAGE Eldercare, Inc., The Connection for Women and Families, The Salvation Army, UCPC Behavioral Healthcare and YWCA of Eastern Union County. Together, UWGUC and its partners served 5,776 residents of the Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights community in 2010-2011.
Proceeds from this event will benefit United Way of Greater Union County's Summit Area Special Response Fund.
