Elizabeth, NJ - The Columbia Bank Foundation has approved a grant request for $15,000 that will go towards Virtual Financial Literacy Workshops hosted by the United Way of Greater Union County.

The grant will last the entire year and is part of UWGUC’s efforts to transform their programs
and services.

“As a true community bank foundation, we are pleased to be able to assist and support the fine
efforts of United Way of Greater Union County Inc,” said Columbia Bank Foundation executive
director Julie Holland. “Along with this grant, please also accept our very best wishes for
continued success with your organization’s future endeavors.”

By offering virtual workshops, UWGUC is able to collaborate with various community resources
to provide a series of virtual webinars that will provide families and individuals with continued
access to services, leadership, and career-focused initiatives, and ways they can advocate in
their communities.

Various virtual workshops are held throughout the month.

You can sign up online to attend a workshop. UWGUC is also asking for experts in various fields
to host a workshop or webinar that could help those in the community.
