United Way of Greater Union County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is a countywide, collaborative initiative that expands access to essential services for individuals and families facing economic hardship.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered locally by Union County, this program is designed to improve living conditions, economic opportunity, and overall community well-being for low- and moderate-income residents.
United Way serves as the lead agency and system coordinator for this initiative, partnering with a network of 12 community-based organizations to deliver a wide range of human services across Union County. Through this coordinated model, we:

Mental health services, including counseling, assessments, and evidence-based treatment
